Welcome to the Carter Lake Police Department

 

Carter Lake, Iowa is uniquely located on the West side of the Missouri River immediately north of downtown Omaha, Nebraska. It is a city surrounded on three sides by Omaha and its fourth boundary is the Missouri River. Our lake is approximately 323 acres with the city being approxmiately 2.0 square miles. Carter lake was separated from Iowa by a series of river changes after the city was first settled.

 

We hope you will find our website useful and informative. We have built the website so that you can get to know us and the services we offer. You may find the Quality of Life link most useful if you have a problem in your neighborhood. Each neighborhood is assigned an officer that will assist residents with problems that affect their quality of life. These problems may be nuisance such as junk cars, disorderly houses, barking or loose dogs and so on.

Tuesday

Albert Burnside who resides at 1514 Ave. N reported unknown suspect (s) broke into his truck and took his Pioneer stereo.

 

Officer arrested Rhonda Casey who resides at 2722 Camden Avenue for possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.

 

Officer arrested Shawn O’Brien who resides at 7721 Lillian Avenue for possession of a controlled substance, and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Monday

Officer stopped James Evans who resides at 1428 Fort Street in Omaha for a taillight being out.  Upon running his information, it was found that his license was suspended with a valid pick up order.  Mr. Evans was cited and license sent to the state.

 

Officer stopped Wesley Fischer who resides at 716 Hackberry Court in Bellevue for displaying expired registration.  Upon running his information, it was found that his license was suspended with a valid pick up order.  Mr. Fischer was cited and license sent to the state.

 Officer arrested Glen Donnelly who resides at 1114 Avenue O for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

 

Officer arrested Humberto Macias-Carasco who resides at the Open Door Mission for taken an item from the Kwik Shop located at 1202 Locust.  Humberto was banned permanently from the Kwik Shop.

 

Officer arrested Charles Ryan who resides at 4737 N. 17th Street in Omaha for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and possession of controlled substance.

Monday

Property damage collision between Patrick Hillman who resides at 905 Redick Blvd., Dakota Driver who resides in Council Bluffs and the Council Bluffs School bus driver. Collision occurred at the 3200 block of N. 13th.  Mr. Hillman was arrested for driving while barred and cited for failure to maintain control.  No injuries.

Officer arrested Robert Kronick who resides at 2760 46th St., in Inven Grove Heights, Minnesota for possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, and criminal mischief.

Officer arrested Jason Hawkins who resides at 926 S. 52nd Street in Omaha for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

 Smoke Signals located at 1001 Avenue H, reported unknown suspect (s) broke into their shed and took several items.

Officer arrested a minor for assaulting Michelle Berry who resides at 3510 N. 9th Street Lot 268.  Michelle was taken to the emergency room.  X-rays showed she had a broken finger and fractures to 2 other fingers.

 

Officer arrested Justin Juhl who resides at 1214 Hiatt Street for possession of a controlled substance.

Wednesday

Ronald Wulff who resides at 1505 Ave. N reported his furniture and appliances were stolen from his rental property located at 3510 N. 9th Street Lot 294.  No suspects at this time.

 

Officer cited and released Orlando Parks who resides at 5923 N. 35th Street in Omaha for possession of drug paraphernalia.
